What you will be doing:
- Work with Engineering Design to develop innovative and practical balancing solutions for complex components, sub-assemblies and engine assemblies.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineers to develop appropriate methods for incorporation into Assembly Instructions.
- Work with tool designers and external vendors to define tooling, fixtures and machines required to perform balancing operations for current and future assemblies in Indianapolis.
- Participate in capital improvement projects procuring new equipment and tooling.
- Improve your technical skills through internal and external training.
- Participate in product verification audits.
- Domestic and international travel – approximately 10%.

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience in dynamics, design or manufacturing disciplines; OR
- Masters Degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience in dynamics, design or manufacturing disciplines;
- In order to be considered for this role, you must be a US Citizen
Preferred Requirements:
- Good written communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Demonstrated team leadership skills
- Theoretical understanding of static and dynamic balancing techniques
- Experience in the design, development and production of aerospace components and assemblies.
- Dynamics experience
- Experience using PFMEA for process design and improvement activities
- Experience using PLM/NX for data and document management and Solid Modelling
- Experience using Schenk balancing equipment.
- Advanced understanding of static and dynamic balancing techniques
